What this machine is built to do.
A portable ultrasonic thickness gauge measures material thickness using an ultrasonic probe. This equipment type is used when the opposite surface is difficult to access. Probe choice, material sound velocity and surface condition affect the measurement. Select the measuring mode and calibration approach for the material being checked; a through-coating function is a model-specific option, not a feature of every gauge.
