Drainage with an agitated intake
The FSM family combines a semi-vortex hydraulic arrangement with a shaft-mounted agitator. The agitator disturbs settled material near the intake, helping the pump handle the drainage conditions for which the family is designed. It should not be interpreted as a cutter capable of processing arbitrary fibrous or oversized solids.
FSM31.5 is the selected model code. The related FS three-phase codes and F float-switch suffixes on the family page are separate configurations; this reference does not add a float switch or infer a three-phase version from the family nomenclature.

Keep flow, head and frequency together
The exact 50 Hz FSM31.5 row lists single-phase 220 V supply, 2.0 hp and a rated point of 66.0 US gpm at 52.5 ft head. The maximum flow of 144.9 US gpm and maximum head of 72.2 ft are different endpoints of the performance envelope, not one simultaneous operating point.
The page also contains rounded family values and a separate 60 Hz configuration. This record retains the exact 50 Hz row rather than mixing those numbers. Select against an approved performance curve using static lift, pipe losses and the required discharge flow.

Check the installation and liquid
The listed outlet is 80 mm with a 6 mm passage and an 8 m cable. The family’s liquid limits are up to 40°C and pH 6.5–8.5. Review the actual solids, abrasion, liquid chemistry and minimum operating water level before treating the drainage duty as suitable.
Confirm discharge coupling, hose or pipe, power protection and the required level-control arrangement. The manufacturer identifies Zhejiang Fengyuan Pump Industry in China; local certification, inventory and service scope need their own written confirmation rather than being inferred from the regional product website.
Planning your configuration
- Use the exact 50 Hz FSM31.5 curve and the system duty point, not maximum flow at maximum head.
- Confirm 220 V single-phase supply and whether separate level control or an F-suffix model is required.
- Check liquid chemistry, solids passage, operating water level and discharge arrangement.
- Shared family image and linked drawing are manufacturer references, not a GLOBSEEK unit inspection.
