An agitator-equipped drainage configuration
The FSM family uses semi-vortex hydraulics with an integral agitator. MEUDY lists cast iron for the pump body, ductile iron for the impeller and stainless steel for the agitator. Check that this construction and the stated liquid envelope suit the intended site water.
The catalogue assigns the product image to FSM2.4 / FS2.4. The illustrated pump identifies the shared hydraulic arrangement, while the exact code and electrical row settle the motor version. A float-switch model carries an additional suffix and should be requested explicitly.

Choose the duty point and the correct frequency row
The selected 50 Hz FSM2.4 row lists 30.8 US gallons per minute at 26.2 feet of head. Maximum flow and maximum head are separate endpoints; they do not describe one simultaneous operating condition. Use the approved curve with the intended hose, pipework and static lift to select the actual duty.
MEUDY publishes a different 60 Hz, 115 V single-phase row for North American use. Confirm frequency and voltage before comparing performance or ordering a replacement. A catalogue family name alone is insufficient for an electrical match.
Allow space for installation and water-level control
The linked 50 Hz outline drawing provides the physical reference for the pump and its 50 mm discharge. Use the drawing and the operating document to confirm sump clearance, hose connection and the permitted water-level arrangement for the offered revision.
The source lists a six-millimetre passage, an eight-metre cable and limits for temperature and pH. These are screening points for the enquiry; confirm solids behaviour, abrasive duty and the required start/stop control with the pump selection. No hazardous-area or specific market certification is assumed.

Planning your configuration
- Provide required flow, total dynamic head, hose dimensions, liquid condition, solids and supply frequency/voltage. Confirm the exact suffix and the approved duty curve.
- The image and table are manufacturer references. Stock, regional certification, cable termination, commissioning and service scope require the written equipment schedule.
