Specify the fitting geometry and clamps first
The WDF workshop range is described for elbows, tees, crosses and Y-type fittings using suitable special clamps. This record uses only WDF315 ratings, with the required fitting geometries defining the tooling package.
Provide material, diameter, wall thickness and fabrication angles with representative drawings. Confirm the required clamp and insert sets; the table’s parenthesised 63/75 mm entries are not assumed to be included in the principal diameter package.

Set the fabrication cycle from the material procedure
The published 7.25 kW total comprises a 5 kW heater, 1.5 kW facer and 0.75 kW hydraulic unit. Heating, facing, alignment and joining load should follow the applicable pipe/fitting procedure for the selected material and geometry.
Ask for the effective cylinder data and pressure-setting method, angle adjustment, timing and cooling instructions. The controller’s 0–270°C range is not a recommended weld temperature or proof of a finished fitting’s performance.
Approve the working configuration and workshop layout
The manufacturer configuration illustration highlights clamping, heating and operator controls. It is a reference layout rather than a guarantee that every special clamp or accessory is included.
Confirm the current model drawing, electrical phase/connection, clearance for pipe segments and lifting or handling requirements. Include the needed clamps, plate/facer parts, gauges and service instructions in the final equipment and spare-parts schedule.

Planning your configuration
- Provide fitting drawings, material, diameter, wall thickness and angles. Confirm clamp/inserts and any parenthesised small-size capability explicitly.
- Use only WDF315 table ratings and approved joining procedures. No complete special-tool set, certification coverage, stock or GLOBSEEK fabricated-fitting inspection is assumed.
