Build the electrode geometry around the investigation
The WGMD-10X is described as a ten-channel distributed electrical measurement system. Its host can be combined with appropriate switching, cables and electrodes for different resistivity and IP survey arrangements.
Define the investigation target, line or grid coverage and available access before choosing electrode count and spacing. Channel count is an acquisition characteristic, not a guarantee that a target at a particular depth will be detected or resolved.

Specify switching, cables and electrical ratings together
The page lists different distributed and centralised configurations. Request a connection schedule identifying the actual cable model, switch units, electrode take-outs, spacing and the acquisition modes supported by that combination.
Confirm transmitter settings, batteries and each component’s voltage/current limits as one system. A host ceiling should not be applied to every accessory, and a similar-looking cable photograph is not proof that its channel variant is the correct one for a ten-channel package.
Agree the data and field-check workflow
The manufacturer’s survey illustration explains electrode lines and a subsurface section using example instruments. It is a general concept diagram, without a claim that the instruments pictured constitute the quoted WGMD-10X build.
Ask for the acquisition file format, quality-control checks, processing and inversion-software scope and training. Agree representative field checks for electrode contact, noise and repeatability, together with a complete equipment and licence list for the intended survey.

Planning your configuration
- Provide target geometry, electrode coverage/spacing, site noise and access. Confirm exact cable/switch variants, power arrangements and required IP modes.
- Request a model-specific system drawing and software/licence schedule. Generic topology, channel count and transmitter ratings are not field-performance or GLOBSEEK survey-result evidence.
