Select the five-channel host around the survey geometry
The WGMD-10V is a five-channel distributed electrical system, distinct from the ten-channel WGMD-10X. Its survey capability depends on the cables, electrodes and switching selected with the host.
Specify the target dimensions, survey line or grid, electrode spacing and access conditions. Ask for the supported resistivity/IP arrangements and field quality checks for that geometry, rather than converting the channel count into a universal investigation depth.

Match the PDGF cable and switching configuration
The manufacturer describes PDGF-10V distributed cables among the configuration choices. The accessory image bears the PDGF-10V marking; it is a component reference, not a statement that a particular cable length or electrode count is included.
Agree cable type, take-out spacing, string count, connectors and electrodes in a wiring schedule. Check component voltage/current limits and the selected power source together so a host rating is not incorrectly applied to every cable or switch unit.

Agree the acquisition, interpretation and support scope
A useful equipment package includes a repeatable acquisition procedure and usable data handover. Confirm the control tablet, battery/charger arrangement, file formats, processing software and licences appropriate to the intended field workflow.
Request representative checks for electrode contact, background noise and measurement repeatability. Interpretation and target confirmation should be agreed as part of the investigation plan; manufacturer system images are not evidence of a GLOBSEEK survey result.
