Choose the measurement configuration around the survey
The SuperSting Wi-Fi range measures electrical resistance and apparent resistivity and supports time-domain induced polarisation. The R8 reference uses eight receiver channels; AGI also publishes other channel-count configurations, so the receiver variant should be written into the equipment schedule.
The main manufacturer illustration shows an R8 instrument with Android control. It identifies a product configuration rather than a serial-numbered instrument available from GLOBSEEK. No published investigation case or subsurface image is presented as a GLOBSEEK survey result.

Specify electrodes, switching and field layout together
AGI describes automatic surveys using electrode switching and programmed arrays. The electrode count, take-out spacing, cable layout and roll-along plan influence the coverage and field handling of the complete system. The R8 host alone does not define that arrangement.
The second illustration shows an AGI SwitchBox 64 accessory from the official gallery. It is a configuration reference: confirm switchbox compatibility, connectors, electrode cable type and required accessories for the proposed array. An accessory image does not mean it is included with every instrument.

Separate instrument ratings from investigation performance
The internal transmitter is listed at 200 W, while output voltage and current depend on electrical load and operating conditions. These ratings should not be converted into a universal depth claim. Array geometry, electrode contact, background noise and the geology all affect the usable measurements.
Before requesting a package, define the target dimensions, access area, expected noise and resistivity range, together with whether IP data is needed. Ask for the data export and inversion-software scope, representative field checks and the training needed to reproduce the agreed measurement workflow.
Planning your configuration
- State the survey objective, desired coverage, electrode spacing and available field crew. Confirm the R8 receiver, switching method, cables, power supplies and software licences individually.
- Manufacturer laboratory accuracy and transmitter ratings do not guarantee target detection at a particular depth. This is a foreign manufacturer reference, without a GLOBSEEK stock, partnership or inspection claim.
