A UV laser marker uses an ultraviolet source and scanning optics to produce a surface change. Material formulation and finish influence contrast and thermal effects. Provide representative samples and the code requirements, then confirm the source, lens, working field, cooling and extraction; UV material behaviour cannot be assumed from a fiber or CO2 machine.
