What this machine is built to do.

A transient electromagnetic system transmits an electromagnetic pulse and measures the decay response after the transmitter is switched off. Its transmitter, receiver, loops and timing arrangement must be selected together for the survey target. Ground conditions and interpretation methods determine how the measurements can be used.
