Printed and electronic identification
iX4R combines visible label printing with RFID encoding. Select the label layout, tag memory and data format around the intended tracking workflow. A compatible reader and host system are separate parts of the overall identification process.

Media and printhead configuration
The model page lists direct-thermal and ribbon-based printing with 203 or 300 dpi choices. Confirm the head, ribbon, tag pitch and media path together. Series descriptions that mention other resolutions do not establish an included iX4R configuration.

Interfaces and handling options
The product range offers wired connections and additional handling modules. Define the host interface and whether labels are torn off, peeled or cut. Validate both print quality and encoding on the actual label stock before planning a production batch.
