Use the fitting to define the welding cycle
Electrofusion fittings contain their own heating element. The controller supplies the electrical cycle required by the fitting; it is a different process from heating pipe faces on a butt-fusion plate.
The WDE315B supports barcode scanning and manual input. Specify the fitting brand, size and joining procedure, and verify that its required voltage, current, energy and timing fall within the confirmed controller build. The listed output limits are separate ratings, not one simultaneous operating point.

Include pipe preparation and alignment equipment
The controller is only one part of a jointing setup. The enquiry should identify the scraping, cleaning, alignment and clamping tools needed for the selected pipe and fitting procedure.
Ask for the applicable preparation and cooling instructions and for a demonstration with the actual fitting. Agree the required weld-record contents and export method if the project needs traceability, rather than treating the barcode reader alone as proof of a complete quality record.
Confirm the electrical build and working package
The source lists 220 V input and a 49 × 29 × 41 cm package. Confirm the operating frequency, supply tolerance, plug and any generator requirements against the current nameplate and manual; the source’s unusual frequency entry is not adopted here.
