Start with the cut material and required depth
The PME-Q300 is a floor saw for straight cutting with a diamond blade. Its 10 cm published maximum depth places it in a different duty range from the larger saws in DIMEC’s catalogue.
State the concrete or asphalt condition, reinforcement if present, required kerf and finished cut depth. Select the blade for that material and operating arrangement, and confirm that the quoted maximum depth applies to the chosen blade diameter and machine configuration.

Plan manual feed and water provision
The saw uses manual push feed and handle-rotation depth adjustment. The manufacturer lists a 12 L water tank, which should be considered with cut length, refill access and the selected blade’s water requirements.
Include space for the operator and guide wheel along the cutting line. Ask for the operating method, handling arrangement and consumables needed for the intended daily work rather than translating tank capacity into an unsupported continuous cutting distance.
Select the engine build and transport package
The model comparison names a Robin EY20 example, while the detail page allows engine alternatives and its photographs show a different reference build. Agree the engine make and model explicitly; neither the catalogue callout nor a photograph should replace the order specification.
