A Roots blower moves air with synchronized lobed rotors and must be selected for the delivery pressure required by the diffuser system. Define air demand, depth, pipe losses, drive and inlet filtration. Cooling, noise control and prevention of lubricant contamination should be checked for the actual blower arrangement.
